6 reasons why CBSE is the best board of the country

Central Board for Secondary Education or CBSE is the national board of our country and is divided into three levels, namely primary, secondary and senior-secondary levels. All major exams such as IIT-JEE, AIEE, AIIMS, etc are conducted by the CBSE. This board is very student-friendly and has a very interesting syllabus.

Approach to education varies as educational boards vary. So, parents should think through the task of choosing the best educational board for children. Choosing a nationalized Institution such as the CBSE board is advantageous for a lot of reasons. Here are the reasons why CBSE should be chosen.

6 advantages of studying in CBSE board

1. Recognition by India government:

CBSE is a national level board of education which is recognised by the Indian government. This means that the curricula across grades are arranged according to the parameters set by the Indian government.

2. Easy approach of study:

CBSE follows a scientific approach wherein students are supposed to appear for only 1 question paper per subject. This relieves children of unnecessary pressure of exams and instead lets them take interest in the subject.

3. Syllabus design:

The CBSE syllabus is designed to prepare students for various entrance exams such as the IIT-JEE and AIIMS. Also, CBSE follows the guidelines of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) across all subjects. This gives uniformity in education which is CBSE’s advantage over other boards.

4. Helpful in relocation:

Since a large number of schools in India are affiliated to CBSE, it becomes very easy for parents to change cities and easily get their children enrolled in a CBSE board school in case of work transfers.

5. Allows students to appear for exams in private

CBSE allows both regular (students enrolled in the  schools affiliated to the board) as well as private students to sit for an exam. Whereas other boards allow only regular students enrolled in schools affiliated to them.

6. Focuses on English and Hindi languages:

CBSE focuses equally on English and Hindi languages and have mediums of education for both languages.

The CBSE board is moving towards an international approach to examination pattern and evaluation system. There are many schools affiliated to CBSE board across the world which gives opportunity to the children to study abroad.
