India Today 2017: Preschool award for Rainbow Preschool International, CBSE award for Rainbow International School

The India Today Education Recognition

India Today's education recognition programmes are among the most credible in the country, precisely because of the organisation's reputation for editorial independence and rigorous evaluation. India Today's education rankings and recognition events draw on multiple data sources — academic outcomes, student satisfaction, institutional investment, community reputation, and independent assessment — to identify institutions that genuinely distinguish themselves from the field.

To win in two separate categories — preschool education and CBSE secondary education — in the same ceremony reflects the breadth of the Rainbow family's excellence: it is not a single-dimensional institution that excels in one area while neglecting others, but a genuinely comprehensive educational organisation that maintains high standards across the full range of what it offers.

Excellence in Preschool Education — for Rainbow Preschool International

Rainbow Preschool International's recognition for 'Excellence in Preschool Education' in Thane reflects the institution's sustained commitment to providing the highest quality early childhood education available in the region. The Rainbow Preschool programme's distinctive combination of:

• A developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that supports the natural learning styles of young children
• Highly qualified, genuinely passionate early childhood educators
• Purpose-designed physical environments that stimulate curiosity and support exploration
• A warm, nurturing institutional culture in which every child feels safe, valued, and seen
• Strong parent communication and involvement practices

Excellence in CBSE Education — Rainbow International School

Rainbow International School's recognition for 'Excellence in CBSE Education' in Thane reflects the school's record of consistent academic achievement, combined with its investment in the full range of facilities, teaching quality, and student support systems that make genuine CBSE excellence possible.

The recognition encompasses the school's track record of strong Board examination results at Class X and Class XII, the quality of its teaching faculty across subjects, its infrastructure — smart classrooms, science and computer laboratories, arts and sports facilities — and the school's distinctive ability to prepare students for the competitive demands of higher education without reducing education to examination preparation.

What These Awards Mean for Rainbow Families

India Today recognised two separate categories: Excellence in Preschool Education for Rainbow Preschool International and Excellence in CBSE Education for Rainbow International School.

The India Today recognition ceremony took place on 7 October 2017.
