What to expect on your campus visit

A campus visit is the easiest way to see Rainbow International School for yourself before you apply for 2027-28. You meet the admissions team, walk through the 3.5-acre campus in Brahmand, Thane West, and get answers to your questions about classes, timings, transport and fees.

How the visit works

1. Book a time: use the form on this page, or call or WhatsApp +91 82915 68972.
2. Arrive at the gate: our security staff will guide you. Every visitor signs the visitor register at the gate, and there is a metal detector at the entry.
3. Meet the admissions team: tell them your child's age, current class and the class you are applying for in 2027-28.
4. See the campus: walk through the classrooms, labs, library and sports areas.
5. Ask your questions: fees, timings, transport, Spanish, the Class 11 streams and the admission steps.
6. Next steps: the team explains the interaction and documents for your child's class and how admission is confirmed.

Before you come

A little preparation makes the visit more useful:

• Note your child's date of birth, so the team can confirm the right class for 2027-28.
• Bring a copy of your child's latest report card, if your child is already in school.
• Write down your questions, so you do not miss any on the day.
• Note your building name and area, if you need the school bus.
• Plan your route on Google Maps. The school is at Cosmos Arcade, Brahmand Phase 4, Thane West, close to Ghodbunder Road.

Rainbow International School's 3.5-acre campus has spaces for learning, sport and the arts:

You know your child best, so ask about what matters to you. These are questions many parents find useful:

• Which class will my child join in 2027-28, based on the date of birth?
• What are the school timings for my child's section?
• How does the school support a child who joins from another school or board?

• Classes: Jr KG to Class 12. From 2027-28 the school starts at Kindergarten.

School timings to keep in mind

The school runs Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturdays. The admissions team will suggest a visit time that suits you during office hours.

Visiting with your child

Many parents bring their child on the visit. It helps the child see the classrooms and play areas before the first day, and it gives you a sense of how your child feels in the new space. If your child is young, plan the visit at a time when they are rested, and keep the visit short and relaxed.

Safety during your visit

The same checks that protect students apply to every visitor: security staff and a visitor register at the gate, a metal detector at the entry, and CCTV across the campus. Read more on our Safety and Security page.

After the visit

If you decide to apply, the next steps are:

• Interaction and documents: a friendly interaction for younger classes and a document review. From Class 9 onwards there is a written admission assessment.
• Admission confirmed: complete the fee process, receive your admission confirmation and get onboarding support.

Visiting for Jr KG and Sr KG

If your child is joining Jr KG or Sr KG, ask the team about the Pre-Primary day, which runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and about the age criteria (Jr KG 3.5 to 4.5 years, Sr KG 4.5 to 5.5 years). Visiting for Class 11 and Class 12

Class 11 and Class 12 study in the afternoon shift, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. On your visit, ask about the Science, Commerce and Humanities streams, how subject combinations are confirmed for each batch, the career counselling for stream selection, and the pre-board exams and CBSE sample-paper practice for Class 12. Transport questions on your visit

If you need the school bus, tell the team your building name and area on the visit. The school's own GPS-enabled buses serve homes within 10 km of the campus, with a female attendant and CCTV on every bus, and live tracking for parents on the school app. The transport fee is separate from tuition. Spanish at Rainbow International School

Spanish is taught from KG to Grade 8 as a regular timetabled subject, with a dedicated Spanish teacher, at no extra fee. Ask about it on your visit, or read our Spanish page.
