What is the admission process?

What is the age criteria for admission?

Jr KG: 3.5 to 4.5 years. Sr KG: 4.5 to 5.5 years. Class 1: at least 6 years, as per CBSE norms. Rainbow International School admits from Jr KG; for younger children, see Rainbow Preschool International.

When do admissions open for the new academic year?

Admissions for 2027-28 are open from Jr KG to Class 12. Book a campus visit or call +91 82915 68972.

Is there a waiting list?

Yes. When a class is full, applicants are placed on a waiting list and contacted if a seat becomes available.

Can my child join mid-year?

Mid-year admission is possible subject to seat availability. Please contact the admissions office for your child's class.

Are there any sibling discounts?

Yes, a sibling discount is offered. The admissions office shares the details.

What are the payment options?

Fees can be paid annually, half-yearly or quarterly by bank transfer, cheque or online payment. EMI is not available.

Is the transport fee separate?

Yes. The transport fee is separate from tuition and depends on your area. School buses serve homes within 10 km of the campus.

What streams are available in Class 11–12?

Science, Commerce and Humanities, in an afternoon shift from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Subjects taught in 2025-26 included Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Computer Science and Physical Education; Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies; Psychology, Political Science, History and Painting; with English. Subject combinations are confirmed by the admissions team.

Teaching follows a Multiple Intelligence-based approach, with experiential, project-based and collaborative learning.

Our Philosophy

Does the school help students prepare for board exams?

Yes. Class 10 and 12 students have periodic tests, pre-board exams and CBSE sample-paper practice. Career counselling is available from Class 9 to 12.

How does the school support students with learning difficulties?

A counselling team works with students who need extra academic or emotional support, with remedial classes, individual support and parent counselling.

What safety measures are in place?

CCTV across the campus, security staff at the gates, a metal detector at the entry, a visitor register, fire extinguishers and evacuation drills, and an infirmary with a full-time nurse. School buses are GPS-enabled, with a female attendant and CCTV on every bus.

Yes. The infirmary has a full-time nurse, a paediatrician visits the school, and an ambulance is on standby.

How does the school handle bullying?

The school has a zero-tolerance anti-bullying policy. The school counsellor runs anti-bullying workshops, and any reported incident is looked into with the parents.

What are the school timings?

Jr KG and Sr KG: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Class 1 to 10: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Class 11 and 12: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The school office is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm.

How many days a week does the school operate?

School runs Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturdays.

Does the school provide bus transport?

Yes. The school's own GPS-enabled buses serve homes within 10 km of the campus, with a female attendant and CCTV on every bus. Parents can track the bus live through the school app.
