The curriculum and syllabus is designed to help students take one more step forward and to develop creative ideas and thoughts. The Middle School poses more demands on the students, but the integrated courses prepare them to meet the challenges. The quest for excellence is not only in academics but also in all aspects of school life. All students participate in a multi dimensional curriculum. The academic programme provides intellectual stimulation and curiosity, rational thought and maturity of mind. Co curricular activities encourage personality development and draw out creativity, talents and provide opportunities for leadership and character building, with an idea of ‘Every Child a Personality.’ A variety of clubs operate within the school.
TEACHING - LEARNING STRATEGIES
The teaching methodologies used in the classroom environment actively engages all students in the learning process. Variety of instructional strategies based on the assessed strengths, needs and interests of the students are adopted. The teachers implement whole group, small group, and individual instruction that provide for independent application and practices. Technology is extensively used in the day to day teaching in the classrooms. They identify and articulate clear learning objectives based on grade-level expectations and assessment of students needs.
Two terms with two Summative Assessment One in September and other in March ( Term I SA1 + Term II SA 2). Four Formatives, two in each term. Term I (FA1 + FA 2) and Term II (FA3 + FA4)
